Like the rest of you I love Super Smash Brothers Brawl for the wicked cool attacks (and the chance to jump back on the platform if you fall)
But there is only so much mindless pounding I want to do. Even as Bowser, my personal pick for best player in the game, I get bored after a while.
But then, just as I was going to turn off the system.....
I found the plot!
Under solo mode is an, ironically, two player game called The Subspace Emissary. I love it. You get to play as all the players (I could have done without Diddy Kong) and see a variety of worlds. Plus, I love the feeling that I'm getting somewhere.
My only gripe with the game is this. Ash is still labeled as "Pokemon Trainer", and thats annoying. Maybe I should start referring to Nintendo as "game company"

it appears to be a floating machine. I know I thought that it sounded like something out of ST too! He's just a generic boss as far as I'm concerned, but Nintendo does a better job of explaining it here: Really Long Link
