ROI in the world of Games (LINK)

ROI is a concept common in the business world. It stands for Returen on investment and basically it’s a complicated way of saying what you get back for what you put in, and it can apply just as much to games as it can to as corporated project management.
What you put into games
-time playing
-money
The return is what you get. It could be any of the following:
-Entertainment
-Stress relief
-Social activity with your friends
-The ability to shoot things without being arrested.
-Game play experience
-Bragging rights when you beat it
-How much play you get out of the game
To me this very important. If I pay good money for a game it better entertain me for more than a few hours.
My recommendation for a game with great staying power: Super Mario Galaxy. I got it when it came out, and even though it’s been beaten long ago the quest for more stars and their unlockables carries on in my spare time.
